Use non-sensitive sample material for the initial comparison. Time the entire task, including checking and correcting the answer. A faster first draft is not a saving if it takes longer to fix.

Galaxy AI: test the exact Samsung feature
Samsung's Galaxy AI tools differ by model, software and feature. A comparison should name the function being used and any account, connection or language requirement. Confirm availability on the UK device rather than inferring it from an overseas demonstration.

Company controls can change the experience
Check whether the feature processes information on the device, through a provider service or through an optional external integration. Review account ownership and the management settings available for the selected software.

Include software costs in the comparison
A phone purchase does not establish that every AI service, future feature or third-party subscription is included indefinitely. Record the feature, account type, price and any trial end date in the buying brief.
Keep handset, airtime, management and optional AI charges separate. If staff already use an approved work AI service, test whether the phone feature adds something useful before adding another subscription.
Make a small trial repeatable
Choose three tasks, a small group and a common scorecard. Record factual errors, omitted information, required edits, completion time and whether the company configuration permits the task.
Select the feature when the reviewed result helps the work. Keep a manual fallback and review the setup when software changes. The phone decision should also work for calls, applications, coverage and support.

There is no universal winner across tasks, devices and company configurations. Compare the same work and include the time needed to review and correct the result.
Do staff need a new phone for AI?
Not always. Check the exact feature's compatibility on existing devices and compare any approved business AI tools already in use.
Are all AI features included in the handset price?
Do not assume that. Check account requirements, optional integrations, subscriptions and trial end dates for the specific feature.
Can company settings disable the feature?
Yes, availability can depend on management controls as well as the device, software and account. Test the configuration that employees will actually receive.
