How much does Samsung Knox cost in the UK?

There is no single price for everything called Samsung Knox. Built-in protection, enrolment tools, paid management software and the service of configuring your phones are separate items. A useful UK quote names the product and licence term, then shows any setup and support charges alongside it.

Samsung's licensing documentation directs businesses to resellers for commercial licences. This guide does not publish an unverified UK tariff. Use the checks below to compare a written quote for the number of devices you actually need.

Which Knox tools are free and which are paid?

Free Samsung software can still require administrator time or a paid management platform. Ask the supplier to distinguish the software entitlement from its labour and ongoing service. Samsung sets out the Base Plan's included position in its plan announcement.

What changes a paid Knox quote?

• Plan or individual service: list the required outcome before choosing a bundle. Do you need enrolment, everyday management, firmware control or device analytics?
• Number of devices: identify active phones, shared devices and spares that will be enrolled. Ask how replacements and extra devices affect the bill.
• Licence period: check the start and expiry dates, renewal basis and whether the proposed subscription covers your rollout period.
• Deployment work: identify who registers devices, creates policies, distributes apps and helps staff sign in.
• Ongoing administration: ask who handles lost phones, leavers, policy changes and support requests after the initial setup.
• VAT and payment terms: compare all prices on the same VAT basis and distinguish upfront from recurring charges.

These are purchasing checks, rather than a claim that every supplier prices in the same way. A cheaper software line can be outweighed by omitted deployment work or a support package you do not need.

Does Enterprise Edition include Knox Suite?

Samsung describes a one-year Knox Suite entitlement for Enterprise Edition devices, while stating that licence offerings can vary by country or region. Confirm the exact UK model, included plan, activation process and expiry date in writing. The Samsung Enterprise Edition documentation explains this regional qualification.

Compare the total fleet cost, not just the licence

For your chosen comparison period, add the device and airtime charges, software subscriptions, initial deployment and recurring support. Keep VAT treatment consistent and include any stated annual changes. Business mobile contracts through CTN have a minimum 24-month term; the software licence term is a separate item to confirm.

For example, a proposed 20-phone rollout should show the software total for those 20 devices, any separately charged spare devices, the one-off setup amount and the support total over the same period. This is an illustrative budgeting method, not a CTN price or a claim about a completed customer deployment.

1. Name the Knox plan or standalone product and list the included services.
2. State the device count, supported UK models and licence start and end dates.
3. Show licence, setup and support charges separately, with VAT clearly identified.
4. Explain any Enterprise Edition entitlement and the cost after it expires.
5. Identify who owns the business's administrator accounts and manages the devices.
