Types of Office Phone System

There are three broad options for a UK business today, and the right one depends on your size, budget and how much on-site kit you want to manage.

Cloud / hosted VoIP. Your phone system lives in the provider's data centre and calls travel over your internet connection. There is no PBX box on your wall.
