Turn On Mobile Hotspot

Steps

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Connections
  3. Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
  4. Toggle Mobile Hotspot to on
  5. Tap Mobile Hotspot to view the network name and password
  6. On the device you want to connect, open Wi-Fi and select your Galaxy S25’s hotspot name
  7. Enter the password and connect

Quick access from Quick Settings

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  2. Tap the Mobile Hotspot tile to toggle on

Turn Off Mobile Hotspot

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
  2. Toggle Mobile Hotspot to off
Tip: Tap Mobile Hotspot to change the network name and password. Use a strong password to prevent unauthorised access. You can also set a timeout to auto-disable the hotspot when no devices are connected.

Data usage warning: Hotspot usage draws from your mobile data allowance. Video calls and streaming use significant data. Set a data limit under Settings > Connections > Data Usage to avoid overages.
