Wi-Fi Calling lets your Samsung Galaxy S24 make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi network. It’s ideal for offices, warehouses, or any building where mobile signal is weak but Wi-Fi is strong.
Turn On Wi-Fi Calling
Steps
- Open Settings
- Tap Connections
- Tap Wi-Fi Calling
- Toggle Wi-Fi Calling to on
- If you have dual SIM, select which line to enable it for
- If prompted, enter or confirm your emergency address
- You’ll see a Wi-Fi Calling icon in the status bar when active
Turn Off Wi-Fi Calling
- Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Calling
- Toggle Wi-Fi Calling to off
O2 tip: On O2, Wi-Fi Calling is enabled by default on supported Samsung devices. If the option doesn’t appear, make sure your software is up to date.
Network support: EE, Vodafone, O2, and Three all support Wi-Fi Calling on Samsung Galaxy S24. Calls use your normal minutes at no extra cost.
Wi-Fi Calling Not Working?
- Update your software — Settings > Software Update > Download and Install
- Toggle Airplane Mode on and off
- Reset network settings — Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings
- Check your SIM — if using a very old SIM card, you may need a replacement from your network
Important: Wi-Fi Calling requires a stable Wi-Fi connection. If your Wi-Fi is slow or congested, call quality may suffer. Try connecting to a 5GHz band if available.
