Visual Voicemail lets you see a list of your voicemails and choose which to listen to, without dialing in. It’s built into the Phone app on all modern iPhones.
Set Up Visual Voicemail
- Open the Phone app
- Tap Voicemail at the bottom right
- Tap Set Up Now
- Create a voicemail password (you’ll need this later)
- Choose Default or Custom greeting
- If Custom, record your greeting and tap Save
Voicemail Not Appearing?
- Check your network supports it — EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three all support Visual Voicemail on iPhone
- Toggle Airplane Mode on and off
- Reset network settings — see our guide
- Call your voicemail manually (dial your own number) to check it’s active
