Sky Business Mobile Deals 2026: Pricing, Bundles and Alternatives
Sky Business Mobile Deals 2026: Pricing, Bundles and Alternatives
The Bundle Discount Looks Good. Until You Do the Maths.
Sky's pitch to business customers goes like this: you already have Sky broadband, maybe Sky TV. Add Sky Mobile and you get a bundle discount. Everything on one bill, one provider, one discount. Simple.
On the surface, it makes sense. The bundle discount is real. You do save money compared to buying Sky Mobile at its standalone price. And the convenience of one bill is genuinely appealing.
But here is what Sky does not mention in the bundle pitch: the discount is applied to Sky's own prices. And Sky's own mobile prices, even after the bundle discount, are typically more expensive than going directly to the actual mobile networks.
Let us put real numbers on this. Sky charges approximately £15 per month for 30GB of data with the bundle discount applied (approximately £18 without it). A direct business deal from Three for 30GB costs approximately £8 per line. From O2 directly, approximately £10. From Vodafone, approximately £10. From EE, approximately £12.
So the Sky "bundle discount" brings the price down to £15. A direct network deal without any bundle, any discount, any special arrangement, starts at £8. The bundle discount is saving you money compared to Sky's inflated starting price, not compared to what the market actually charges.
And here is the kicker: Sky Mobile runs on O2's network as an MVNO. So you are paying £15 for MVNO access to the same O2 network that would cost you £10 through a direct O2 business deal. And the direct deal comes with a dedicated account manager, proper business support and priority network access that Sky's MVNO arrangement does not provide.
Based on our experience helping over 2,000 businesses compare their telecoms since 2008, businesses switching from Sky Mobile to direct network deals typically save 30% to 50% on their mobile costs alone. That is before you factor in the better coverage, better support and better business features that come with direct network contracts.
We are not here to tell you Sky is bad. We are here to help you see past the bundle psychology and compare the actual numbers.
We are Compare The Networks, an independent, OFCOM-regulated comparison service rated 4.3/5 on Trustpilot from over 1,000 reviews. We compare EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three side by side, completely free.
How the Sky Bundle Actually Works (And Why It Creates Lock-In)
Sky is a media and telecoms company owned by Comcast. Sky Mobile launched in 2017 as an MVNO on O2's network. Sky Business targets commercial premises, particularly pubs, hotels, restaurants and offices, with a bundled offering of broadband, TV and mobile.
The bundle model works like this:
- You take Sky broadband for your business
- You add Sky TV (especially common in hospitality for sports)
- You add Sky Mobile and get a discount on the mobile plan
- The more Sky services you take, the bigger the overall discount
The problem is that this creates a web of interdependencies. If you want to switch just your mobile to a better deal, you lose the bundle discount on everything, including your broadband and TV. The discount that was saving you £3 per month on mobile is suddenly costing you £5 per month on broadband because the bundle rate reverts to standalone pricing.
This is the bundle trap. It is not malicious. It is just how bundle economics work. But it means that once you are in the bundle, comparing your mobile deal independently becomes psychologically harder, because every calculation involves accounting for what you lose elsewhere.
Our advice: calculate the total cost of all your Sky services separately at their standalone prices. Then calculate the total cost of Sky broadband and TV at standalone rates, plus the best direct mobile deal from the market. If the second number is lower (and based on our experience, it usually is), the bundle discount is costing you money, not saving it.

The Real Pricing Comparison
Sky Mobile Business SIM Only (Approximate)
| Data | Standalone Price | With Bundle Discount |
|---|---|---|
| 2GB | ~£8/month | ~£6/month |
| 10GB | ~£12/month | ~£10/month |
| 30GB | ~£18/month | ~£15/month |
| 50GB | ~£22/month | ~£19/month |
| Unlimited | ~£28/month | ~£24/month |
Direct Network Business Deals (Through Compare The Networks)
| Network | 30GB Per Line | Account Manager | Fleet Tools | Network Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Three | ~£8 | Yes | Yes | Direct |
| O2 | ~£10 | Yes | Yes | Direct |
| Vodafone | ~£10 | Yes | Yes | Direct |
| EE | ~£12 | Yes | Yes | Direct |
Sky's bundled 30GB price of approximately £15 is nearly double what Three charges directly for the same data. Even O2 direct at £10 is cheaper than Sky's MVNO access to the same O2 network at £15.
For a business with 10 mobile lines, the difference between Sky bundled (£150/month) and Three direct (£80/month) is £70 per month, which is £840 per year. Over a 24-month contract, that is £1,680 in savings before you consider the better support, better features and better network access that come with a direct deal.
The Coverage Question: O2 Only, Whether You Like It or Not
Sky Mobile runs on O2. If O2 is the best network at your locations, that is fine. But O2 is the best option at roughly 25% of UK postcodes, based on our experience running coverage comparisons for thousands of businesses.
At the other 75% of postcodes, EE, Vodafone or Three offers better coverage, better indoor signal, or better 5G speeds. And with Sky, you cannot access any of them.
We check coverage at your specific postcodes across all four networks. If O2 happens to be best for you, we will tell you, and we can even get you a direct O2 deal that is cheaper than Sky's MVNO version of the same network. If EE or Three covers your locations better, we will put you on the right network at the right price.
Who Sky Business Mobile Actually Suits
The honest answer: pubs and restaurants that need Sky Sports.
If you run a hospitality business where Sky TV is essential for attracting customers, and you already have Sky broadband for the premises, adding a mobile line or two for the manager makes the bundle mildly convenient. The savings are small, but the simplicity of one bill has some value.
For everyone else, the bundle maths do not work. General businesses without a need for commercial Sky TV get no meaningful benefit from the bundle. You are paying premium prices for an MVNO mobile service because it has the Sky brand on it, when the actual networks offer better deals with better features.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Sky Mobile good for business?
Sky Mobile can work for businesses that already use multiple Sky services and benefit from bundle discounts, particularly in the hospitality sector. However, for businesses evaluating mobile deals on their own merits, Sky Mobile is rarely the most competitive option. As an MVNO on the O2 network, it lacks the direct network access, business features and competitive pricing that come from going directly with EE, Vodafone, O2 or Three.
What network does Sky Mobile use?
Sky Mobile uses the O2 network. It operates as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator), meaning it does not own mobile infrastructure and instead buys access from O2. Your coverage and performance are determined by O2's network in your area.
Is Sky Mobile cheaper than EE, Vodafone, O2 or Three for business?
Generally no, particularly for multi-line business accounts. While Sky's standalone consumer prices are competitive with consumer deals from the major networks, genuine business mobile pricing from EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three (accessed through a comparison service like ours) is typically lower than Sky Mobile while including dedicated business features and account management.
Can I keep Sky broadband but switch my mobile to another provider?
Yes, but be aware that you will lose any bundle discount that was applied across your Sky services. Calculate whether the mobile savings from switching outweigh the lost bundle discount. In many cases, the saving from a competitive direct network deal more than compensates.
Does Sky Mobile offer 5G for business?
Sky Mobile has introduced 5G on some plans, but as an MVNO, their 5G rollout depends on O2's 5G infrastructure. You will generally get broader and faster 5G access by going directly with EE, Three, Vodafone or O2, as direct customers typically get priority access to new network technologies.
Is Sky Business Mobile suitable for a fleet of company phones?
For more than a handful of lines, Sky Mobile lacks the fleet management tools, centralised device management and dedicated account management that businesses need. Direct network deals through a business comparison service provide proper fleet management capabilities, centralised billing, usage policies and a dedicated account manager who understands your business requirements.
